Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain new Java-based features and backend services
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and agile ceremonies
- Help troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Contribute to the integration of third-party APIs and external systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Java development and HR tech
- Embrace and uphold Talenteria’s commitment to quality and innovation
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Solid understanding of Java (core concepts, OOP)—academic or personal projects welcome!
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience or familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot is a big plus
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies
- Eagerness to learn new frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving attitude and keen attention to detail
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
