Key Responsibilities
- Design and define the overall Java-based architecture for distributed, scalable SaaS solutions
- Lead technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and solution planning sessions
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to deliver high-impact features
- Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices for development teams
- Oversee performance tuning, security reviews, and system scalability initiatives
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to strengthen our platform
- Mentor and support engineers, fostering a learning-oriented team environment
- Ensure robust integration of cloud infrastructure and third-party services
- Participate in strategic planning for product innovation and roadmap evolution
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing the application stack
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience, with at least 3 years in an architectural or lead role
- Expertise in Java SE/EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful API design
- Deep understanding of scalable, distributed systems architecture and microservices
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Advanced knowledge of database systems (relational and NoSQL)
- Strong background with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience coaching/mentoring engineering teams
- Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with emerging technologies
- Fully proficient in English (spoken and written)
