The Junior HR Manager is responsible for assisting the HR department in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The Junior HR Manager will support the HR team in implementing policies and procedures to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements.
1. Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
2. Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire orientation materials, conducting HR orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of new hire paperwork.
3. Assist with employee relations, including responding to employee inquiries, addressing concerns, and documenting incidents or disciplinary actions.
4. Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, performance evaluations, and training records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
5. Support the HR team in administering employee benefits and leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.
6. Assist with HR reporting and analysis, including preparing reports on headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics for management review.
Additional information: The Junior HR Manager will report to the HR Manager and work closely with other HR team members to support the needs of the organization. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of HR and contribute to the success of the HR department.
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
2. 1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
3. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
6. Familiarity with HRIS software and systems.
