Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Junior Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment, and ensuring that all areas are kept tidied and organized. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and development within our company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clean and sanitize all office areas, including but not limited to, floors, windows, surfaces, and restrooms.
2. Empty waste bins and replace garbage bags as needed.
3. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
4. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
5. Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous substances.
6. Assist with setup and cleanup for special events or meetings as required.
Please note: This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time. The Junior Cleaner will be expected to work during regular business hours, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment are essential to succeed in this role.
Skills & Experience
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
4. Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
5. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
6. Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques.
