Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. This is a pivotal role within our organization, where you will be responsible for overseeing accounting procedures and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, experience with financial reporting, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. As a Senior Accountant, you should have excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for numbers. Your expertise will contribute to the success and efficiency of our finance department, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and helping to drive our company's financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation of regular financial statements in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
2. Perform thorough financial analysis to provide actionable insights that will drive business decisions.
3. Oversee and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
4. Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes, ensuring best practices are in place.
5. Assist with tax preparation, audits, and identifying any discrepancies or financial irregularities.
6. Mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development within the finance department.

Skills & Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting or financial management role.
3. Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
4. Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
5. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
