Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our dynamic and growing organization. The Senior Scrum Master will play a critical role in facilitating and guiding our cross-functional teams through the processes of agile methodology to ensure effective collaboration and successful product deliveries. As a leader and coach, the ideal candidate will possess an exceptional ability to navigate complex project landscapes and empower their teams to achieve their highest performance levels. With their deep understanding of Scrum practices and a passion for continuous improvement, our Senior Scrum Master will be a pivotal figure in driving our projects to completion while upholding our core values of innovation, quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitate the Scrum process from initiation through delivery, aiding exchange of information, decision-making, and issue resolution.
2. Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure smooth communication and understanding of project objectives and progress.
3. Mentor and coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and the Scrum framework, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
4. Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments, ensuring the team's progress against milestones is unblocked.
5. Work collaboratively with Product Owners to promote backlog refinement and prioritization aligning to the product roadmap and business goals.
6. Lead and facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure optimal performance and team engagement.

Skills & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) accreditation is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
4. Proven experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) and familiarity with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
5. Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to manage complex stakeholder dynamics.
6. Excellent communication and mentorship abilities to guide teams and stakeholders through various stages of the Agile journey.
