Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Team Lead to oversee the QA activities within our software development team. The QA Team Lead will manage a team of QA professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and resolve defects promptly. The role demands strong leadership skills, in-depth understanding of testing methodologies, and a dedication to excellence in software quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality across various platforms
• Collaborate with development teams to define, document, and execute quality assurance processes
• Identify, report, and track software defects to closure, ensuring timely resolution
• Continuously review and improve QA processes, introducing new tools and practices where appropriate
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives and priorities
Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
